James Wood plays a cop who finds that his personal life is putting a lot of strain on his work, and vice-versa, in this violent thriller. The tension begins to come out in his work after his wife leaves him, taking their seven-year-old daughter with her. Meanwhile, he trails a serial killer who seems to prey on women connected to a feminist bookshop.
