Robert (Rafer Weigel) and Mark (Eric McCormack) are trying to get funding for their film about a serial killer who hunts down the members of the Brady Bunch when they meet their hero, William Shatner. Surprised to discover that he is nothing like the character he plays on TV, the two fans find their illusions shattered but, with the help of the great actor, gradually learn to look at life in a new way.
