Double bill of children’s animated adventures featuring the cast of the ‘Peanuts’ comic strip written and illustrated by Charles M. Schulz. ‘A Boy Named Charlie Brown’ (1969) follows Charlie Brown (voice of Peter Robbins), Snoopy (Bill Melendez) and friends as they take part in a national spelling bee. However, knowing Charlie’s luck and outlook, does he really stand a chance of winning? In ‘Snoopy Come Home’ (1972) Snoopy leaves Charlie Brown (Chad Webber) to visit Lila (Johanna Baer), his original owner who is currently in hospital. Snoopy makes his way across the country and, when he arrives, is asked to return to Lila permanently – a turn of events that leads to Charlie Brown being very much down in the dumps.
