Uptight farm boy Claude (John Savage) gets drafted and visits New York on the way to Vietnam. Upon his arrival in the Big Apple, he falls in with a bunch of flower children who give him a crash course in hippy culture. Milos Foreman’s adaptation of the hit Sixties musical boasts some inventive choreography by the legendary Twyla Tharp.
