Kanuma (Riki Takeuchi) is a member of the Japanese Yakuza, and is bound by their strict code of ethics. He meets with Mike Sakata (George Cheung) in Los Angeles to arrange a cocaine shipment. Kanuma’s girlfriend Yoko – a flight attendant – is supposed to be smuggling the drugs to Japan, but is killed in a gang ambush. Realising he has been double-crossed, Kanuma sets out on a bloody trail of vengeance.
