Drama based on a true story. Robert Downey Jr stars as journalist Steve Lopez, who comes across mentally disturbed former classical music prodigy Nathaniel Anthony Ayers (Jamie Foxx) playing his violin on the streets of Los Angeles. As Lopez endeavours to help the homeless man find his way back to life and work, a unique friendship forms between the two men, transforming both of their lives.
