A Dean Martin commemorative set which features the film ‘At War With the Army’ (1950) and a collection of 20 of his classic tracks. ‘At War with the Army’ is a wacky comedy set in a World War II army training camp. When they sign up Vic Puccinelli (Martin) is made 1st Sergeant but his friend Alvin Korwin (Jerry Lewis) is given the rank of private. The camp aims to build up the troops physically so they are ready for action and teach them the discipline that orders given from the higher ranks must be obeyed without question. Alvin has problems getting the hang of it especially as his friend Vic isn’t one for jokes anymore and spends his days shouting. What will become of their friendship?
