This suspense-filled triple pack includes:
I Am Legend:
Robert Neville (Will Smith, Men in Black) is a brilliant scientist. But when a man-made virus can’t be contained, Neville finds himself the last human survivor in New York City and potentially the world. For three years he faithfully sends out daily radio messages, desperate to find other survivors. But he is not alone… Mutant victims of the plague (The Infected) lurk in the shadows, waiting to catch Neville out. As perhaps Earth’s last hope for mankind, Neville is driven only by the desire to somehow reverse the effects of the virus before it’s too late…
The Brave One:
For Erica Bain (Jodie Foster, Silence Of The Lambs), the streets of New York are both her home and her livelihood. She shares the sounds and the stories of her beloved city with her radio audience as the host of the show Street Walk. At night, she goes home to the love of her life, her fianc David Kirmani (Naveen Andrews, Lost). But everything Erica knows and loves is ripped from her on one terrible night when she and David are ambushed in a random, vicious attack that leaves David dead and Erica fighting for her life. Though Erica’s broken body heals, deeper wounds remain – the devastation of losing David and, even more overwhelmingly, a suffocating fear that haunts her every step. The city streets she had once loved to roam, even places that had been warm and familiar, now feel strange and threatening. When the fear finally becomes too much to bear, Erica makes a fateful decision to arm herself against it. The gun in her hand becomes a tangible way to protect herself from an intangible enemy… or so she thinks.
Zodiac:
David Fincher’s (Fight Club) adaptation of the Robert Graysmith book masterfully transports viewers to the Bay Area in the 1960s and ’70s by drawing on actual case files from the notoriously unsolved Zodiac killer mystery. As a murderer with seemingly random targets starts sending terrifying threats and cryptic codes to police and publishers all around San Francisco, fear and paranoia descend on the city. When the Zodiacs ciphers arrive at the San Francisco Chronicle, they spark the interest of Graysmith (Jake Gyllenhaal, Brokeback Mountain), a young cartoonist with a penchant for puzzles. As the former Boy Scout earnestly tries to decode the messages, eccentric reporter Paul Avery approaches the case from a career-boosting angle. Meanwhile, a string of investigators from four jurisdictions carry on a complex and unsatisfying search for the elusive killer. Inspectors Dave Toschi (Mark Ruffalo, 13 Going On 30) and Bill Armstrong (Anthony Edwards, ER) at times collide with Avery and Graysmith, whose interest in the case extends long after most have given up.
