A re-make of the successful 1979 film. Prospective fathers-in-law Steve Tobias (Michael Douglas) and Jerry Peyser (Albert Brooks) meet for the first time to celebrate their children’s upcoming marriage. But Jerry discovers that Steve is an undercover CIA agent when, as a favour to help Steve out, he manages to get himself embroiled in an undercover operation involving international arms dealers and super villains.
