After being attacked on the streets of New York, Lisa Roberts moves to a trailer in the remote southwest of the United States. There she meets Randall Atkins, a visitor to the area. He attempts to seduce Lisa, but she calls the police, who inform her that he is a known sex offender. Randall is arrested and Lisa becomes close to the police officer, Steve Smith.
