Dead Awake

Low-budget thriller directed by Omar Naim and starring Nick Stahl, Rose McGowan and Amy Smart. Still dealing with the anguish of a tragic crash which happened ten years earlier, Dylan (Stahl) lives an isolated and lonely life working at a funeral home. Convinced that no one would attend his own funeral if he himself were to die, he stages his own death to prove these claims to his boss. Shortly afterwards, he is reunited with Natalie (Smart), a former girlfriend of his, and then he meets Charlie (McGowan), a troubled junkie who believes Dylan is her guardian angel. With memories of the past haunting Dylan’s daily life and Charlie claiming that he really is dead, his grasp on reality begins to slip…
