Rugby World Cup – Official Review 2003

The official review of the 2003 Rugby World Cup for the English Rugby Team. The second Rugby World Cup to be contested in the professional era, the 2003 tournament in Australia is already being touted as the greatest Rugby show on the planet.
Under the guidance of coach Clive Woodward and led on the field by household names such as Martin Johnson and ‘Golden Boot’ Jonny Wilkinson, the all-conquering England team entered the tournament as favourites and as the number one ranked team in the world! Despite not quite hitting top gear against dangerous sides like Samoa, Wales and France, England dismantled South Africa (among others) on the way to a dramatic and thrilling extra-time final against Australia in the Telstra stadium. A last minute drop goal by ‘Wilko’ clinched the cup for England…what a final! And what a Cup!!!!!!!!!!
