Episodes 49-60 of the 1980s anime saga. At the conclusion of Robotech’s Macross Saga, the Robotech Defence restored peace to Earth with the help of a rogue Zentraedi warlord. Lasting for 15 years, that peace is shattered when a new race of aliens, the Robotech Masters, invade and begin battling the Earth’s beleaguered fighters for control of the Protoculture Matrix, the mysterious product of Robotechnology. Beginning anew an intergalactic war that inhabitants of Earth hoped had ended, Robotech Masters brings a new cast of villains to the planet that force Earthlings to form a new cast of heroes.
