at Birmingham’s prestigious National Exhibition Centre on 15th July 1986, Eric Clapton, along with Phil Collins, Nathan East and Greg Phillinganes gave one of the greatest ever performances featuring a small band format. The set list included four songs from the (as yet unheard) August album: ‘Run’, ‘Miss You’, ‘Tearing Us Apart’ and ‘Holy Mother’. All four songs were warmly received and some have gone on to become firm favourites with Eric’s regular concert supporter
