Imperial War Museum – Royal Navy At War – Fleet Air Arm

This unique collection of six British wartime films provides a diverse insight into Fleet Air Arm operations and its carriers and aircraft. Areas covered include an account of a complete ops cycle as flown by carrier-based Swordfish, a guide to the ‘Batsman’s’ signals, catapult ships, fighter pilot training and U-Boat recognition and attack. Seafires, Martlets, Albacores and Fulmars are all captured with rare footage.
