The House of the Dead

You play a special agent sent on an urgent mission to the top-secret experimental facility of the DBR corporation. There you encounter freaks, ghouls, a plethora of zombies, monsters, bloodsucking bats and every sort of horrific creature imaginable. All of which you need to shoot and destroy.
You can control your pistol with a variety of key configurations which are customisable but we found the best option is to use the mouse which is nearly as good as the arcade and Dreamcast versions which use a gun. The two-player option is also a bonus although one of you is at a disadvantage with having to use the keyboard.
House of the Dead is a very immersive, atmospheric and pretty scary game, it’s just like being in an interactive horror film. For fans of the arcade version we strongly recommend this game–just don’t play it alone in the house at night.
