A Lonely Place to Die

Action thriller set in the Scottish Highlands in which a group of mountaineers stumble upon a kidnap plot. Rob (Alec Newman), Alison (Melissa George) and Ed (Ed Speleers) are skilled climbers. After a daring initial assent they meet up with Alex (Garry Sweeney) and Jenny (Kate Magowan), a married couple on their first mountaineering trip since the birth of their daughter. However, it soon becomes clear that this is going to be anything other than a routine trip when the five stumble upon Anna (Holly Boyd), a young Serbian girl buried in the ground and kept alive with only a breathing tube. The five hatch a plan to escape from their remote location with the child, but Anna’s kidnappers have very different ideas…
