In ‘The Things We Do For Love’, Clifford gets involved with local accusations about toxic fertiliser. In ‘Live in My Heart and Pay No Rent’, Niamh’s (Tina Kellegher) fianc decides at the last minute that he should become a priest, and Father Clifford has to talk him out of it and convince him to go on with the wedding. In ‘Fallen Angel’, a new pirate radio station starts operating in the village. In ‘The Power and the Glory’, a local MP dies, and Quigley (Tony Doyle) begins campaigning.
