Animal Games

Released to coincide with the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, this wildlife version of the golden games uses state-of-the-art photography and special effects to compare the athletic prowess of various mammals, reptiles, insects, birds and fish. The animal participants compete in six events: 100 Metre Sprint, High Jump, Long Jump, Swimming, Weight Lifting and Shooting. Throughout the competition, BBC commentators John ‘Motty’ Motson and Jonathan Pearce provide facts and figures about the participating creatures, who are cheered on by a stadium full of noisy animal fans.
