Steve Roberts is a dim-witted reporter determined to prove his editors wrong with a big story. His luck changes when his friend Dr Charlie Venco, a research scientist, contacts him with a story on a breakthrough drug called ‘Blue Mist’ which becomes 100% addictive by attaching itself to the user’s DNA. If the drug ever hit the streets it could change the world. However, when Steve arrives at Charlie’s house in Havana he finds that Charlie has mysteriously died in a boating accident and his funeral is taking place. Cold Harvest
A comet has struck the Earth, blocking the sun from the sky and killing millions of innocent people. The remaining survivors are forced into a lawless twilight existence, scavenging for food and medical supplies. To make matters worse, a deadly plague has been unleashed and the only hope for the continued survival of the species is in finding the seven human ‘sources’ who carry antibodies for the disease. But whilst some brave survivors want to use the antibodies for the good of mankind, others have realised that whoever controls the ‘sources’ can hold the rest of the world to ransom.
