Although he runs a busy department at Community General Hospital, Dr Mark Sloan (Dick Van Dyke) isn’t averse to helping out his detective son Steve (Barry Van Dyke) on some of his more mysterious cases, along with pathologist Dr Amanda Bentley (Victoria Rowell) and ER resident Dr Jesse Travis (Charlie Schlatter).
