A group of tourists are hiking in the forest, when one man slips down a slope and breaks his leg. Meanwhile Jake Langford, a young Ranger trainee, is having what looks like his last argument with his beautiful girlfriend, Jo who is moving out of their cabin. Just then the phone rings – Jakes father, also a ranger, has a job for him – he is being sent in to rescue the hiking party. Its Jakes ?rst rescue.
