Journalist Nelson Keece (Gary Busey) dices with death when he makes a pact with serial killer Stefan (Arnold Vosloo). Nelson agrees to be Stefan’s confessor, in return for compiling a psychological profile of the murderer. However, when a detective (Michael Madsen) suspects Nelson of actually being the killer, Nelson begins to have second thoughts about indulging Stefan’s mind games.
