Triple bill of films starring Elizabeth Taylor, Carole Lombard and Ava Gardner, respectively. In ‘Father’s Little Dividend’ (1951), Stanley Banks (Spencer Tracy) has to cope with the prospect of becoming a grandfather. In the screwball comedy ‘Nothing Sacred’ (1937) Wally Cook (Fredric March) is a hotshot reporter condemned to writing obituaries because of his unwitting complicity in a fraud. And finally, in ‘Ghosts On The Loose’ (1943), Muggs (Leo Gorcey), Glimpy (Huntz Hall) and the rest of the East Side Kids offer to decorate the honeymoon cottage of Glimpy’s sister Betty (Gardner) and her new husband Jack (Ric Vallin). Unfortunately, the boys end up at the wrong house, a sinister mansion that serves as the headquarters for a Nazi spy ring.
