Criminal psychologist Fitz (Robbie Coltrane) becomes involved in an investigation into serial rape. He receives massive feedback after discussing the issue on his radio programme, but his relationship with Penhaligon is thrown into turmoil when she subsequently becomes one of the victims. Matters become more complicated when Fitz’s wife, Judith, returns to the marital home.
