Best friends Morgan (Sean Astin) and Jason (Matthew Lillard) refuse to accept commitment, either in the form of a steady job or a steady girlfriend. Instead they proclaim themselves ‘philosopher-warriors’ and hit the road, moving from one dishwashing job to another, happy in their carefree existence. But then Morgan meets Anne (Shannon Elizabeth), a stripper who is both intellectual and beautiful, and falls head over heels in love with her.
