The Eastern Counties Steam Weekend organized by the West Anglia and Great Northern Railway in June 1995 certainly proved to be an event to remember, with three mainline steam locomotives in action including two examples of the famous streamlined Gresley A/4 Pacific. This officially commissioned and superbly made film captures the spirit and excitement of the weekend, with plenty of line side action from along the entire route from Bishops Stortford to Ely, as well as some exciting and contrasting footplate rides with the crew onboard Union of South Africa and Britannia
