Katrinka is a Czech skiing expert who is made pregant and then unceremoniously dumped by a cheating film director. She gives up the baby and in a dramatic flourish skis across the border for a better life as a model in Munich. Once in Germany, Katrinka has a whirlwind romance and marriage with tycoon Adam and joins the international diamond-encrusted jet-set. But their love doesn’t last and it’s not long before she is finding solace in the arms of a publisher whilst negotiating a profitable divorce.
