The unusual love story between Mexican teenager Diego (Diego Catano) and 21-year-old American woman Molly (Eireann Harper) is told in an even more unusual medium as photographer/director Jonas Cuaron runs a voiceover script over a series of still photographs taken of people he knew over a couple of years in Mexico.
