More mayhem from Laurel and Hardy with prison as its theme. In ‘Pardon Us’, Stan and Laurel are sent to prison for breaking Prohibition laws (both the restored and extended black and white version and an extended colour version are included). In ‘The Hoose Gow’ things get messy with a rice pudding fight, started when they join a prison road gang. Also included is the well-known silent short ‘The Battle of the Century’, which served as the inspiration for the rice-pudding scene.
