In ‘Pack Up Your Troubles’ Stan and Ollie have returned from World War One and become guardians for the young daughter of a fallen army pal. In ‘Their First Mistake’ the troublesome two adopt a baby and ‘Putting Pants on Philip’ is an early silent comedy in which Ollie is guardian to Philip (Stan Laurel), a young Scotsman who likes showing off in his kilt and has a penchant for chasing the ladies.
