A lakeside holiday brings young Ashley into contact with Orky, a cookie-loving sea monster whose magical intervention brings her family closer together. However, Orky’s life is endangered by wicked, environment unfriendly industrialists who want to use the lake as a chemical dumping ground, so Ashley, brother Josh and her sceptical father step in to protect him.
