Made-for-television adaptation of the Mary Higgins Clark novel. While out playing golf, callous businessman Sterling Brooks (Cameron Bancroft) is struck dead by a bolt of lightning. His heartless days as a stockbroker go against him when he tries to get into heaven, although he is given a second chance to prove his worth by trying to get a troubled family back together by saving them from the underworld gangsters who are making their life a living hell.
