When Chrysty (Amy Brennan), fleeing her husband, arrives at a tiny Nevada town seemingly run entirely by women, she decides to stay. But she soon finds that her presence threatens the status quo; the womenfolk are in control for most of the week as their husbands are away working at a dam and only make it home at weekends. Chrysty becomes the obvious scapegoat for the women’s frustrations and loneliness and the ensuing conflicts send all of their lives into a state of chaos.
