In order to escape the vengeance of local criminal Debo (Tommy ‘Tiny’ Lister Jr), Craig Jones (Ice Cube) goes to stay with his uncle Elroy (Don Curry) and cousin Day-Day (Mike Epps) in Los Angeles. However, Craig soon falls foul of drug-dealing Mexican gang leader Joker (Jacob Vargas).
