True story about four medics who lie seriously wounded in the jungles of Mexico, after their plane crashes. Some are near death, and the only hopes of being saved from death are in the hands of a group of nurses with little medical experience. Meanwhile local bandits threaten to prevent the nurses from getting their medical supplies to the wounded medics as a violent drugs war wages around them.
