When Marty (Blake Heron) finds runaway beagle Shiloh, he decides to make him his own. Unfortunately, Shiloh’s owner, Judd (Scott Wilson), is abusive towards him. Despite this, Shiloh is returned – only to run back to Marty. This time Marty battles to keep Shiloh, despite opposition from his parents, and finds support in the form of his best friend’s grandfather, Doc (Rod Steiger), who tells him he must fight for what is right.
