Comedy set during a weekend in New York and based around a deli run by the Italian-American gambling-addict Johnny Amico. Working for Johnny is Andy, the womanising and hard-working manager; Pinky, the comedian who always keeps the staff amused; and finally Mrs Amico, Johnny’s mother. For the last ten years, Mrs Amico has been giving Johnny $10 to play a special weekly numbers game for her, but Johnny has been secretly pocketing the cash instead.
