Forest Whitaker stars as a marine officer who stumbles across a plot to overthrow the American President by embittered Chief of Staff, General Lloyd. According to an obscure clause in the consititution, the President can be deposed if the entire cabinet signs a letter questioning his mental health. The officer finds himself in a battle to save the presidency and his own skin.
