Ralph Macchio appears for the third time as Danny la Russo, the ‘Karate Kid’. Upon his return to LA, Danny is emotionally blackmailed into defending a championship title he doesn’t want, and becomes upset when his mentor Mr Miyagi (Pat Morita) refuses to train him for the bout.
