Tommy’s life was cut short at the age of 51 and this film charts the story from humble beginnings in the Calton in Glasgow through a remarkable career in football and goes back to the Calton for a funeral that brought the city to a standstill in May 2008. The main DVD features the thoughts and tributes of Tommy Burns’ family, his friends and those who worked for him and those who he worked for. There are anecdotes and interviews from around 40 people in Tommy’s life as well as rare footage of Tommy in the three main aspects of his life – Family, Faith & Football.
