TILL THE CLOUDS ROLL BY (1946) -Robert Walker stars in this biopic of ‘Showboat’ composer Jerome Kern. Starting out as a penniless composer, Kern finds early success after moving to England. It is there that he meets his future wife, but his return to America is followed by a fallow period, which only ends when he begins a successful collaboration with Oscar Hammerstein II.
