Fresh out of prison, ex-cop Ray Mercer (Peter Weller) is met by his beautiful wife (Tia Carrere) and taken straight to Las Vegas for a divorce. Whilst there, he manages to win a huge jackpot at the casino gaming tables, only to then get caught up in a heist organised by a sinister gangster known as ‘The Butcher’ (Peter Coyote). The police place Mercer as the number one suspect, leaving it up to him and his wife to search for the clues which will clear his name and save their marriage. Directed by Sidney J. Furie, the man behind ‘The Ipcress File’ and the Cliff Richard classic ‘Wonderful Life’.
