Serial killer Ryan Weaver (Ray Liotta) and armed robber Stubbs are being flown from New York to Los Angeles on Christmas Eve, accompanied by four federal marshals and a selection of regular passengers. Weaver makes friendly overtures to flight attendant Teri Halloran (Lauren Holly). When Stubbs kills the marshals in a hijack attempt, Weaver kills him. News comes through that the plane is headed for a storm, but can Teri trust Weaver?
