Episodes 15-21 from the first season of the Disney Channel series. On the surface, the Russos are just an everyday New York family – but in fact dad Jerry (David DeLuise) is a former wizard and is training his sons Justin (David Henrie) and Max (Jake T. Austin) and daughter Alex (Selena Gomez) in magical powers. However, there is a catch: only one child from each wizard family is allowed to keep his or her magic powers. When they all turn 18, the Russo children must hold a contest to decide which of them will get to keep their powers.
