World War II – it lasted six long years and it produced the biggest armies, the longest battle lines, and the most devastating weapons of any war. It summoned up the best and the worst in men, and like other wars it defined immorality in such places as Guam, Iwo Jima, and San Pietro.
This DVD collection is by no means the whole story of the war. Our aim is to cover in words and film some of the most important phases of this “Great War.”
