After witnessing the murder of her family by the evil Roman General Crassius (Patrick Bergin), young Serena (Nichole Hiltz) is taken away from the village where she grew up and forced to work as slave dancer. When she later kills a Roman senator in self-defence, Serena has no choice but to escape, and teaming up with Amazon warrior Ione (Jennifer Rubin), she begins to train in the arts of combat, making ready for the fateful day when vengeance will be hers. Soon enough, when news reaches her that Crassius is stationed nearby, Serena prepares to make her move – and ends up coming face to face with her nemesis in the gladiatorial arena.
