Sixteen-year-old Emma Crawshay is orphaned and sent to live on a wild African game farm with her Uncle Joss and Aunt Paula (C. Thomas Howell and Marlee Matlin). Initially she is antagonistic towards the couple but the trio are soon brought together by their mutual love of their environment and animals, especially a young elephant called Ollie. However, her new found idyll is soon under threat as an evil hunter and his boss kidnap Ollie along with other wild elephants in a bid to make a vast amount of money from the illegal ivory trade. Can Emma, Paula and Joss rescue Ollie and prevent the cull of so many elephants?
