Documentary tribute to the ‘Princess Margaret Rose’, Sir William Stanier’s first production Pacific locomotive for the LMS railway. After over a quarter of a century’s frontline service, the locomotive was bought by Sir Billy Butlin as a children’s holiday camp amusement. She was then rescued once again and restored to main line use by the Princess Royal Class Locomotive Trust at Butterley in Derbyshire. This programme traces her story from Pwellhi to Paddington.
