The complete first season of the US drama series starring Calista Flockhart and Sally Field. William (Tom Skerritt) and Nora (Field) have raised five unique children, all battling complex problems; which seem to come to a head when William suddenly dies. Kitty (Flockhart) is an outspoken political commentator who begins a relationship with charismatic Senator Robert McCallister (Rob Lowe), while Sarah (Rachel Griffiths) balances motherhood with managing the struggling family business.
